Malia's Senior Pictures with Vintage Truck in Herriman, Utah
I always get excited when I get a booking as a client referral. This means I'm doing my job right and my client loved their experience enough to tell their friends! This shoot was not only special because it was a dear friend of one of my clients, but Malia wanted our Vintage truck add-on to make her senior portrait session more unique.
Planning the Senior Portrait Session:
During the session planning consultation with Malia, I learned that she attended Paradigm High School. She described herself as self-motivated, ambitious and adventurous. She asked about adding on a vintage car to her senior picture session. I sent her a picture of a couple of vintage automobiles we had available to use for her shoot, and she chose the yellow truck. Considering that we were photographing in the Fall, I agreed this was the perfect choice.
Shooting Senior Pictures on Location:
After our planning consultation I need to find the perfect location to feature her and truck. Because of the unique landscape of the Herriman area, we were able to get to very different locations within a short distance. We started her session up Butterfield Canyon to capture the beautiful Fall leaves and vibrant colors. We then finished her session in the grassy, golden fields located a short distance away. A perfect way to showcase the beautiful sunset and gorgeous dress she wore.
I brought sunflowers and a vintage blanket to use in the truck and we had a blast creating these dreamy senior pictures for Malia. Malia ordered one of our Accordion Folios that featured 12 of her favorite senior photos and some of her favorite quotes, see below!

Nicol Zambos - I am not a senior in high school .. but I love your truck pictures. I would love to do some truck pictures with myself in a red dress for my hubby. Do you do that?
