Photoumbra Studios is based in Herriman, Utah at 13852 S Sunsprite Ct, Herriman, UT 84096. Our studio is available by appointment only and offers a professional, comfortable environment for headshot and branding sessions. We also offer on-site photography with our full mobile studio including professional lighting and backgrounds. 

We serve clients throughout Utah including Salt Lake City, Herriman, Draper, Sandy, Lehi, Orem, Park City, Ogden, and surrounding areas. Not sure if we cover your location? Give us a call at 801-413-3434 and we'll work something out.

Our office hours are Monday through Thursday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm and Fridays 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Yes, we are happy to customize a plan for you. A primary and backup credit card are required to qualify for the payment plan. All sessions are paid in full prior to the commencement of services. 

We accept all major credit cards, checks, direct bank transfers, and cash. 

We understand that things can come up and we do our very best to accommodate you by allowing your full session fee to be transferred to a new session date with a minimum of 48 hours notice. If you need to cancel within 48 hours of your session time, there is a $100 rescheduling fee. 

We pride ourselves on our quick turnaround times. Depending on the type of shoot, proof images are delivered from instantly to within 1 business day. Final retouched images are typically delivered within 1-2 business days after you have completed your selections. 

For our headshot, branding, and corporate clients, we offer high-resolution digital files with full commercial use rights. Standard file types we deliver are .jpeg, with .tiff or .png offered by request. 

Images not ordered will be removed from our system within 2 yeas of your photo shoot. Ordered images are typically archived for 3-4 years. 

Depending on the size of the project, we recommend that you book 2-4 weeks in advance. Of course, if you've got a rush deadline, we're happy to do whatever we can to accommodate your desired date.

Consistency is a key differentiator. At Photoumbra Studios we work with you ahead of time to plan the look and feel (including wardrobe guidance, backdrop options, lighting style) so that all team members present a cohesive visual identity. Our on-site studio setup ensures uniform lighting and background. For future additions (new hires or replacements) you can visit our studio and we’ll match the original style

Team headshot photography refers to professional portraits taken of an entire staff or multiple team members of an organization, often on-location at your workplace, with consistent lighting, background, style and branding across all images. At Photoumbra Studios, we bring a full on-site studio setup to your office, enabling you to capture your entire team (from 5 to 500+ people) with consistent quality, minimal work-day disruption, and brand-aligned results.

On-site team headshots pricing is calculated by a per person or per hour rate, typically ranging from $35 to $150 per person depending on your location, group size, and retouching needs. We’ll recommend the most efficient, budget-friendly approach to capture your entire team consistently and professionally.

Our process is engineered for efficiency: we bring professional lighting and backdrops directly to your workplace, and our streamlined headshot system allows us to photograph up to 40+ people per hour with minimal wait times so your team can return to work quickly.. We also deliver instant proofs via individual online galleries and provide final retouched images typically within 1-2 business days.

After the shoot each team member receives an individual online proofing gallery where they can select their favorite image(s) to be retouched. The number of retouched files depends on your package. Final, professionally retouched images can be downloaded by team members from their proof gallery and a downloadable folder with all retouched images will be delivered to the shoot organizer(s). Each file is automatically named with the participant’s first and last name, ready for use across your website, social profiles, marketing materials. New hires or late attendees can be photographed at our Herriman studio later for matching headshots for a small fee, ensuring long-term consistency.

After booking your session with Photoumbra Studios, you’ll receive our Team Headshot Onboarding Questionnaire, designed to help us stay organized and tailor the experience to your team. This quick form collects details such as team size, preferred background style, wardrobe guidance, scheduling preferences, and file delivery needs.

Here are a few additional tips to ensure everything runs smoothly:

• Finalize your participant list and schedule in advance—we can provide a simple sign-up link or import your list directly. On-site signup available as well.

• Choose wardrobe colors and styles that align with your brand’s image; solid colors or subtle patterns work best. We are happy to provide a custom style guide for your team.

• Prepare the shooting space by keeping it open and accessible for our lighting and backdrop setup, we prefer a minimum 10'x10' space. 

• Communicate the purpose of the session to your team to encourage participation and reduce anxiety.

• For any absentees or new hires, our Herriman studio offers matching headshots later to maintain visual consistency.

Make Your Selection: Approximately one business day after the session, you will receive a link to view your online proof gallery of all of your headshots. You may choose your favorites from this gallery for retouching. You are welcome to purchase additional headshots at this time. 

Image Delivery: After you have made your final selections, your images will be professionally retouched and delivered to you via a downloadable link.

Our professional on-site headshot photographer can typically photograph up to 40 people per hour per station with full posing guidance and quality control. For high-volume events, multiple stations can be set up to increase throughput. Event headshot proofs are delivered instantly to each partipant in their own personal proof gallery. Final, retouched images are provided as high-resolution digital files are typically delivered within 1-2 business days after the selection deadline, ready for use on LinkedIn, company websites, email signatures, and professional profiles  giving attendees immediate value from the experience.

The need for retouching depends on how the images will be used. For headshot stations designed to add value to an event, we generally don’t recommend it. Our expert lighting and posing techniques ensure that images look great straight out of the camera. However, if the photos will be used beyond LinkedIn or Teams, retouching would be beneficial to ensure everyone looks their absolute best. Retouching can be included in your package upfront or offered as an optional upgrade for participants to purchase individually.

Each attendee receives their headshot instantly in a private proof gallery, conveniently delivered to their inbox. Additionally, each file is automatically renamed with the participant’s name for seamless organization (for example, 1234.jpg becomes Smith_Jane.jpg). Event organizers will receive a link to all the images by request. 

We offer both options! Our headshot station can run on a first-come, first-served basis or allow for advanced scheduling. We recommend a combination of both to ensure your team members can update their headshots without waiting in line while still giving other attendees the opportunity to participate.
