STEP 2 - PLAN & SHOOT
The Planning Consultation
After you book your shoot, we will schedule a complimentary planning consultation. We can do this in-person, over the phone, or via Zoom.
We'll discuss the theme or "look" you'd like for your portraits. We'll go over location selection, what to wear, and any special needs or requests you may have.
We'll also chat about what you'd like to do with your portraits once we have created them. Will they go on your walls or would a table top item like an album or a folio box be the best solution?
We'll help you discover which products will work best for your needs.
The Shoot
During your shoot, we will help you look great and feel confident so relax, you're in the hands of a pro!
PROFESSIONAL LIGHTING: We use studio quality lighting even on-location, so you'll always look amazing! Our flattering lighting setup helps to light the eyes, get beautiful skin coloring and texture. No more squinting into the sun, harsh shadows under your eyes or blasted out backgrounds. We light every scene properly and we guarantee you'll love the quality of your portraits!
EXPERT STYLING & POSING: Part of looking great in portraits is knowing how to pose. We'll help pose you or your group and provide you with valuable tips and tricks to make you look your very best. It's amazing how a little lean here or a head tilt there can totally transform the way you look on camera.
Worried about a your hair looking good, if your collar is laying flat or your necklace is straight? Don't, we pay attention to all of those tiny details and help style you during the entire shoot.
KIDS AND/OR PETS: One of the most stressful parts of a photo shoot can be worrying if your kids have their tongues out or if your pet is looking at the camera. Because we always bring an assistant on the shoot, you don't have to worry, we'll work patiently to make sure we capture the best of everyone.
