Branding Photography for Elles Designs in Saratoga Springs

ELLES DESIGNS AND CONSULTING LLC. is a growing interior & exterior home design company focused on turning houses into dream homes. They create beautiful and harmonious designs with a light and organic aesthetic, while prioritizing character and personal touches for their clients.

We very much enjoyed working with this husband and wife team. We did a branding photography shoot at their gorgeous custom home in Saratoga Springs, Utah.  A couple months back, I had the opportunity to chat with Erica, the owner, about creating some marketing images that they could use on their website and social media. 

As home designers they seemed to have plenty of images showcasing their work/designs, but not very many images of themselves in process of working together or with clients. These types of photography can be a powerful addition to the overall story of a brand, so we were excited to work with them to capture these types of images. 

We styled their shoot to reflect their bright and organic design aesthetic. We kept with casual posing, bright and airy lighting and tried to feature many of the organic elements in their surroundings. Luckily, their personalities perfectly matched their aesthetic. They were friendly, warm, and up for anything. 

While Erica mostly focuses on the interior design aspects of their projects and her husband Cade focuses on the building side, we discovered that there was quite a lot of crossover in these two jobs. This made for some great content for their photography. From Cade helping Erica make up a new guest bedroom, to Erica going over schematics with Cade, these two made a killer team! We tried to capture their individual and combined talents in their branding photography. 

They can now use these images to more powerfully illustrate to their clients what they offer, who they are as a couple, and as business owners. Connecting with their clients with this type of lifestyle or branding photography can help their clients envision what it would be like to work with them, and THAT is invaluable! 

After seeing the photographs for the first time, Erica messaged me and said, "These are amazing! I'm so excited." I can't wait to see how her business continues to grow and develop and we wish her and Cade all the best!
