What’s included in the Classic Headshot Session?

Our Classic Headshot Session is designed to give you flexibility and variety without taking up your entire day. It includes:

• 40 minutes of guided photography in-studio or on location

• Up to 3 outfit changes

• Direction on posing, expression, and body language

• A private online proofing gallery the next business day

• Retouched high-resolution images perfect for web, social, and print

For this session, our client also added our express hair and makeup service for $125 , which is a great option if you want to look polished but natural. We keep this 30 minute service efficient and relaxed so you can step in front of the camera feeling confident.

Can I shoot outside and inside in one session?

Absolutely. Our Herriman studio is located in a quiet residential area and features a beautifully landscaped studio garden just steps outside our door. Many of our clients choose to do part of their session outdoors to take advantage of natural light and seasonal backgrounds, you can upgrade your session to include the outdoors for just $50. 

For this author’s shoot, we started inside with neutral backdrops and a few seated poses, then stepped outside to capture some softer, lifestyle-style shots with greenery in the background. The mix gave her more variety to work with across her marketing platforms.

How long does it take to get my headshots back?

We know waiting can be stressful, especially when you're excited (or on deadline). That’s why we deliver your proof gallery by the next business day. You choose your favorites, and we professionally retouch them with care and subtlety. Final images are delivered in high-resolution, ready to go to press within a few days.

What should I wear to a headshot session?

This is one of the most common questions we get. The short answer is: wear something that makes you feel confident and reflects your personality or brand. Solid colors tend to work best on camera. Avoid loud patterns or logos. We’ll guide you through outfit choices during your pre-session planning and throughout the shoot.
